Die Injektion an das Ganglion stellatum

Abstract: The description of the stellate ganglion as the decisive eye of' a needle of the sympathetic supply and discharge system of the upper quarter of the body provides a lot of important indications for the stellate block from the point of view of the general and internal medicine. A non-anasthesiologist can also carry out the ambulant stellate block by means of' a highly sophisticated technique. The unusually high number of applications with a minimum amount of incidents quoted by highly experienced neural therapists relativizes the inadequate requirements of' some anaesthesiologists for an emergency set to be made available. Nevertheless, the stellate block will have to be reserved in future to a rather small number of experienced and well equipped neural therapists making an always pracise indication.
