Abstract: The multi-factored causes of ever-increasing chronic diseases makes the treatment as well as the proof of successful treatment difficult. Therefore, the successes of health resort medicine in particular are often being doubted by doctors. Various studies prove, however, that stays at health resorts show an efficiency ratio of 1:3.
