Abstract: 2 to 3 % of the population suffer from psoriasis which is a metabolic deasese possibly manifesting itself an the skin and/or joints. The disposition for psorisias is frequently hereditary. Nevertheless the manifestation depends an diverse mechanisms and triggering effects which are shortly discussed in this article. As pseudoallergical reactions and the liverplay a central role in the development of psoriasis it is possible to influence it endogetically and positively with adequat diet. How these nutritional guidelines exactly Look like, will be described in the following pages.
