Hepatitis induced by alpha-amanitin in mice : Effects of low doses of alpha-amanitin and rifampicin on biological and histological parameters

Abstract: Experimental models of toxic hepatitis have been worked out by several authors to show the protective effects of very low doses of hepatotoxic substances like Phosphorus, a-amanitin or rifampicine. In rats, the preventive injections of Phosphorus oppose the increase of transaminases (ASAT, ALAT) at 7CH and the apparition of major pathological lesions at 15CH after CCl4 intoxication. Alpha-amanitin, cyclopeptide extract of Amanita phalloides, has also been ions with Aman 15c and Rifam 15c.
