Beeinflußt Physiotherapie den Schmerz bei aktivierter Arthrose?

Abstract: Aus dem Wissenschaftlichen Forschungsinstitut für Rheumatologie (Direktor: Prof. MUDr. K. TRNAVSKY Dr. Sc.) und der Abteilung für medizinische Informatik der Karls-Universität Prag Zusammenfassung Wir haben die analgetische Wirkung drei verschiedener Physiotherapiemittel (Ultraschall Gleichstrom Impulskurzwelle) in Kombination mit Ibuprofen und Placebo an 180 Pat. Mit aktivierter Arthrose der Hüft- und Kniegelenke untersucht. Alle drei Physiotherapiemittel führten in Kombination mit Ibuprofen und mit Placebo zu einer Schmerzabnahme. Mittels der zweifachen Varianzanalyse verglichen wir die analgetische Wirkung der Physiotherapiemittel unabhängig und in Abhängigkeit von der Kombination bei einem Signifikanzniveau von 5 %. Zwischen den einzelnen Physiotherapiemitteln fanden wir keinen Unterschied in der analgetischen Wirkung auch nicht beim Vergleich der Kombinationen. Dagegen zeigten die Physiotherapiemittel mit Ibuprofen insgesamt eine signifikant größere Schmerzabnahme als alle Physiotherapiemittel mit Placebo. Summary The analgesic effects of three different physiotherapeutic remedies (ultrasound galvanic current and pulsed short-waves) in combination with Ibuprofen and drug placebo were studied in180 patients with activated arthritis of hip and knee joints. Combination of each of these three physiotherapeutic remedies with Ibuprofen or placebo resulted in a decrease of pain. The analgesic effects of the physiotherapeutic remedies were compared independently as well as in dependence an the combinations using two-way variance analysis with a significance level of 5 %. No differences were found in the analgesic effects of the physiotherapeutic remedies used not even when the combinations were compared. Altogether physiotherapeutic remedies with Ibuprofen however produced statistically significant decrease of pain than did the physiotherapeutic remedies combined with placebo. ___MH
