Choosing the therapeutic role |
Abstract: The author tries to delimite her role as a therapeutic/musictherapeut. As a frame of reference is chosen the humanistic/existentialistic psychology and therapeutic concept. From here a number of psychoterapeutic basis concepts (contact, conveyance, counterconveyance) are described. The issue of therapy/pedagogy is dealt with in an attempt to line out the diverging of those two points of departure. Some of the problems concerned with therapeutic work with children are sketched as a starting point for the description of a music therapeutic process with a braindamaged boy of 9, finishing the paper.
