Imagery and music

Abstract: Encourages music and drama therapists to consider their potential role in community-based mental health prevention programs. The history of prevention concepts are discussed, along with a definition of prevention and elements of successful program planning utilizing music and creative dramatics. These concepts are illustrated by a practical example of a successful elementary school substance abuse program.
