Journal/Book: Australian Music Therapy Association Conference Proceedings. 1987; Australia. Australian Music Therapy Association 2/31 Abercrombie street 3103 Deepdene Australia. Collected Works.
Abstract: This paper discusses what is meant by change, and how it is evident. Who or what is "the agent". Areas where music therapy programs have been shown to effect change in the client include: 1) Change in the Client/patient as a result of the stimulus (music). 2) Change in the stimulus itself when required. 3) Change in the direction of the profession of music therapy as response to changes in the community. 4) Changes in the therapist due to professional and personal development.
