Abstract: The authors investigate for their graduation thesis whether the demands posed to the medium music and method by Jelburg as a training institute correspond with those of the working field. In this article they indicate in which areas this correspondence is sufficient or insufficient. Conclusions are cautiously drawn due to the small scale of the research, the up-coming merger, and the curriculum which is still being developed.
