Abstract: The effective treatment of clients with cerebral palsy often depends on insight into the condition by the therapist. A case study is presented which documents the neurophysiological basis of therapeutic intervention with a 20-year old female client. Two soecific music therapy interventions are detailed, originating from the concepts of sensory integration and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation.
