Abstract: On 135 unselected patients with functional ischias complaints single blind elcctropuncture experiments were made After the electric excitation of indifferent (placebo) points of the skill the objective and subjective findings did not change essentially, significantly, however, after non-invasive stimulation of the correct acupuncture points.Our examinations, a series of other clinical acupuncture experiments as well as numerous animal experiments confirm an objective acupuncture effect. Therefore we plead for the inclusion of the acupuncture into the therapeutic practice recommended by the WHO.
