Abstract: A pilot investigation into the use of Arnica to mitigate the sequelae of dental extraction appeared to show a statistically significant reduction of symptoms, as compared with the placebo controlled group.However, there were some methodological criticisms which could call the result into question. Nevertheless, the study points the way torward to further investigations, which could prove that Homoeopathy has more than a placebo effect.
