Abstract: Homoeopathy is a regulation theory. Therefore, only regulation diagnostics should be chosen. In this context thermoregulation as an early symptom, which being measured and documented gives a clear picture of the patient's vegetative possibilities of responsiveness, appears to be the right choice of diagnosis. This regulation test is not invasive, it is reproducable at any time, and it allows us to affirm Hahnemann's findings concerning acute and chronic diseases.Acute diseases manifest themselves as local pathological fuel values against an otherwise unchanged, well-regulated terrain. In contrast to this, in cases of chronic diseases thermograms, too, show an essentially changed type of reaction. And similar to the rapid success Hahnemann had with the homoeopathic therapy in case of acute diseases, the follow-up of the thermogram, too, manifests the improvement within a short period of time.
