Anpassung - ein tragendes Phänomen in der Physiotherapie
Journal/Book: Zeitschrift für Physiotherapy. 1985; 37: 295-299.
Abstract: It was tried to explain the therapeutic effects in physiotherapy as a partial result of a long-term adaptation process. On the basis of numerous investigations is shown that sauna bath as an intensive thermic influence on the organism leads to a change of the tonus of the vegetative regulation of the heart and to remaining change of the blood pressure as well as to an improvement of the peripheral circulation. The reduction of the sympathetic tone and the evident increase of the vagal effect are interpreted as unspecific modification, whereas the optimization of the peripheral circulation.represents a specific response of the organism, since it is to be included into the process of thermoregulation.
