Effect of in vivo Hyperthermia on human natural killer cells

Abstract: Thirteen breast cancer patients were treated by hyperthermia. Natural killer (NK) activity and the frequency of large granular tymphocytes (LGL) were measured in their peripheral blood at various times before and after treatment. Immediatety after the hyperthermiq, significant increases in NK activities and numbers of LGL Vera observed.
