Abstract: This paper describes two music therapy workshops given in France in 1982. The aims and contents of the workshops are described as well as the methods of presentation. The author then explains who attended the workshops and discusses the questions that arose. She goes on to describe the music therapy training that the participants were undertaking and comments more generally on her impressions of music therapy in France.
