Abstract: Contends that humans apprehend music because there are processes in the outside world that are analogous to those in the mind. It is posited that music is an event that happens in the soul, the resonance of the psyche to a monument, and that an inner spiritual structure corresponds to an outer physical structure. Music is said to happen when both are attuned to each other. (8 ref)
