Unsere klinische Erfahrung bei Elektroanalgesie während der Geburtswehen

Abstract: The clinical results obtained on 50 pregnant women with the use of electro-analgesia during labour with the TNS thoraco-lumbar and sacral, are reported here. To pick up the subjective sensations of pain we have used a conventional scaled points system, while the overall judgement has been expressed in terms of a percentage of relief of pain conventionally quantified.A clinically satisfactory hypalgesia (that is a relief equal or above 50%) was obtained in 36 cases (72%).The comparison of the results with the initial psychoemotional conditions, with the psychoprophylactic preparation for delivery, with the pelvic index at the beginning of treatment have not demonstrated significant correlations, while an evident relation was demonstrated between the highest level of intensity of allocated stimulation and the results obtained.During the experimentation we have not observed any complications or undesired side-effects on the pregnant women or fetus.
