Abstract: Research of possibilities of music within the self-confrontation method (SCM) of Hermans (1974) and its value. Researcher formulates, through 2 conversations with client, his/her areas of value. Apart from this he presents three selected pieces of music to client, who scores. Finally he describes a case in which he applies the SCM.
