Abstract: 12 Patients with acute torticollis are reported, most of them younger people, among them six children.Because of the young patients age, only a few needles were used for acupuncture therapy, sometimes two needles were sufficient. In children acupressure at point G. B. 20, Fengchi, and S. J. 5, Waiguan, was done by mother at home. On the average, two treatments were enough to have a sufficient improvement within one to two days.
