Abstract: Aus dem Rheumasanatorium Bad Wilsnack Leitkureinrichtung des Bezirkes Schwerin (Ärztl. Direktor und Chefarzt: Dr. med. R. HERKLOTZ) Zusammenfassung Es wird über erste Erfahrungen mit dem therapeutischen Reiten in einer Kureinrichtung der DDR bei Pat. mit Erkrankungen des Haltungs- und Bewegungsapparates berichtet. Auf Material und Methode wird eingegangen und ein für diese Zwecke neu entwickelter Reitgurt vorgestellt. Anhand kurzer Fallbeispiele werden Indikationen und Ergebnisse der Hippotherapie besprochen und Schlußfolgerungen für ihre weitere Anwendung im Kur- und Bäderwesen gezogen. Summary It is reported on first experiences with the therapeutic riding in a health resort of the GDR in patients with diseases of the posture and locomotion apparatus. The author deals with material and method and a riding-girth newly developed for this purpose is demonstrated. With the help of short instances of cases the indications and results of the hippotherapy are discussed and conclusions are drawn for its further application in sanatoria and health resorts. ___MH
