Research on research: An evaluation of research presentations |
Journal/Book: Journal of Music Therapy. 1978; 15: 67-73.
Abstract: At the 1977 convention of the National Association of Music Therapists (NAMT), a questionnaire was distributed at each of the 3 research sessions asking about the effectiveness of the presentation, the background of those attending, and future research topics of interest. The 143 responses (to 204 questionnaires distributed) indicated that the sessions were well received, that respondents were representative of the NAMT membership as a whole, that research sessions should be stressed in future conventions, and that the topics of greatest interest were therapy models, accountability, evaluation, clinical observation, and curriculum research.
