Abstract: ABSTRA
Keyword(s): Based an a large number of blood volume determinations and many years of experience it can be stated that blood volume measurements with RIHSA will give correct results if the dilutions are obtained an at least two samples and if an average Fcell factor is applied. However double tracer technique and a detailed knowledge of the principles involved will prevent serious errors in certain cases where the single tracer technique is inadequate. The use of a scaler or a blood volume computer for double tracer blood volume measurements with I-125 RIHSA and Cr-51 red cells is explained and the results are discussed. ___MH
