Abstract: From the Department of Dermatology (Head: Professor G. SEEBERG) Sahlgrenska Sjukhuset Gothenburg Summary Sensitivity to iontophoretically administered histamine was investigated in unaffected skin sites in 103 patients with extensive eczema and 36 patients with psoriasis. The results were compared with those in equal numbers of healthy control subjects matched for age and sex. The response to histamine was significantly weaker in the eczematous patients than in the control group. Between the psoriatic patients and the control subjects no significant difference was found. . . .
