Abstract: Abstract Ultraviolet absorption spectra of characteristic shapes and vibrational fine structures have been produced of serum albumin ovaIbumin casein and gelatin. This was achieved by a method in which a standard reference solution of an appropriate xanthine concentration was used as an optical filter for the spectrophotometric measurements. ___MH
