Mikrobiologische Therapie bei rezidivierenden Atemwegserkrankungen

Abstract: The reasonable combination of the use of different living and/ or mortified microbes and/ or their particles and their products of metabolism respectively for an oral and/ or parenteral therapy, always duly adapted to the indication and the constitution available, is known under the comprehensive term of "microbiological therapy". It is used with preference as a long-term therapy to cure chronic and chronically recidivious diseases, but with a somewhat modified scheme shows surprising results of treatment in case of acute diseases. Contrary to the immunosuppressive, antibiotic therapy or chemotherapy recidivisms are significantly less often observed or detected not at all when the microbiological therapy (MTh) is applied. The microbiological therapy (MTh) is especially recommended because of the always and quickly increasing propagation of resistant micro-organisms. It has been substantiated scientifically by numerous experimental and randomized double blank placebo-controlled clinical studies. Seven cases of eleven studies completed until 1993 referred to diseases of the breathing air passages.
