Abstract: The fluids (Xue) are a central category of Chinese medicine:"Xue" comprises all fluids of the organism which are constantly in motion and transformation.The fluids are a nutrient medium for the formation of tissues as well as melting pot for pathological processes and substances.The Chinese treatment of eczema with acupuncture and/or - even better - with Chinese medicinal herbs basically combines five therapeutical steps:1 .Motion and cooling of fluids.2. "Transformation" of the substances which can cause inflammations.3. Drainage.4. Nourishing, moistening and formation of the skin from within.5. Regulation of the exchange capability of skin and mucous membranes.
