Der Einfluß von Pollenextrakten auf biochemische Indikatoren der Leberfunktion im Verlauf einer chronischen Intoxikation im Verlauf einer chronischen Intoxikation mit Ammoniumfluorid bei Ratten

Abstract: Th aim of study on experimental estimation of long-lasting exposure on ammonium fluoride (NH4F) having an influence on chosen biochemical parameters of the animals. The effect of Cernitin was examined on NH4F-induced lver damage in Wistar male rats. The rats were exposed NH4F in the toxological chamber being by a permanent concentration control. Cernitin was added tos tandard diet and was given in a shape of balls to animals once a day. Experiemt covered a period of 6 months. The following biochemical parameters were determined: 1. the activity of enzymes (AspAT, AlAT, AP, ChE), and total bilirubin level. It has been stated that NH4F causes an increase of aminotransferase and alcaline phosphatase activity but a decrease of cholinesterase activity. Profilactic treatment of Cernitin normalized disturbed hepatic parameters caused by ammonium fluoride.
