The behavior of creatinine clearance in full bath

Abstract: A total of 35 volunteers participated in 54 thermoneutral head-out-water-immersion baths for one hour and their creatinine clearances were determined. The results showed that the bath led to a highly significant increase of creatinine clearance of 17 %. One hour after the bath the Parameters had returned to control values. Nevertheless, in 27of the tests no influence of the bath an creatinine clearance could be observed. The bath related increase of this parameter is probably due to a decrease of the renal sympathetic nervous tone with influence an vasomotor regulation.
