Ozon-Sauerstoff-Therapie - Eine Einführung

Abstract: Dr. med. H. Dorstewitz Kirchseeon Zusammenfassung In der Ozontherapie wird ein Ozon-Sauerstoff-Gasgemisch verwendet wobei der Ozonanteil nur 0 05 bis 5 Vol.% beträgt. Ozon ist energiereich reaktionsfreudig und das stärkste natürliche Oxidans. Es wird durch sogenannte stille elektrische Entladung in einem Ozongenerator hergestellt. Ozon und seine metabolischen Peroxide wirken dosisabhängig sehr unterschiedlich. Niedrige Dosen regen die Durchblutung und Stoffwechselaktivitäten an mittlere Dosen wirken virusinaktivierend hohe Dosen keimtötend. Ozon kann über verschiedenste Applikationsformen sowohl topisch-lokal als auch parenteral als auch in Form von ozonisiertem Eigenblut angewendet werden. Wichtige Voraussetzung: Es darf nicht gasförmig inhaliert und intravenös verabreicht werden. Die Applikationsformen werden im einzelnen besprochen. Summary In the therapy by ozonification an ozone/oxygen gas mixture is used the ozone concentration being 0.5 to 5 % by volume. Ozone is rich in energy shows a rapid reaction and is the most powerful natural oxidizing agent It is produced in an ozone generator by the so-called silent electric discharge. Ozone and its metabolic peroxides show a highly variable effect which depends on the dose. Low doses excite the blood supply and the metabolic activi ties medium doses have an inactivating effect on viruses whereas high doses show a germicidal effect. Most different ozone applications are possible the topo-local and the parenteral ways being usual as well as the application by retransfusion of ozonized blood. There is however one very essential condition; It is not allowed to inhale it in a gaseous state or to inject it into the vein. The individual applications are discussed.
