Abstract: Objective: A combined exercise therapy after local warm packs applications should be compared with the exercise mono-therapy in effects of remobilisation of haemophilic arthropathy joints.Subjects: Patients suffering from haemophilic arthropathy and marked contractures in the knee-joint resp. the elbow-joint.Design: Different course of remobilisation therapy in two test groups. In group A the exercise therapy took place after local warm para-fango paeks and in group B only the daily exercise treatment was performed as a monotherapy.During the six weeks' course of therapy and observation the progression of reactivation was compared and statistically analysed. Haemorrhages and the extent of accompanying substitutional therapies were compared both between the two groups and between the treatment and pretreatment interval. Results: There is a definite superiority of the combined therapy compared with the exercise mono-therapy and a distinctly joint protective effect in both of the test groups with a reduction of the frequency of haemorrhage. Conclusion: Performing the combined therapy effects of provoking haemorrhage can be excluded regarding the applied criteria of performance.Obviously additive effects of the combined therapies are performing better results in remobilisation of contractures.
