Der Einsatz von Enzymen bei entzündlichen Erkrankungen des Urogenitaltraktes

Abstract: In many cases chronical inflammations of the urogenital canal can be cleared up by prolonged treatments only. Because of their high relapse tendencies prostatitis will result in painful retention of urine, cystitis will lead to urinary incontinence and recidivations in adnexitis will come to sterility. In clinical trials by Dittmar, Rugendorff, Barsom et al. it is proved that conventional medical care of cystitis, prostatitis and adnexitis by nonsteroidal antirheumatics (NSAR) and glucocorticoids (GC) can be replaced by treatment with orally given Wobenzym. This combined preparation of hydrolytic enzymes and rutin has less side-effects than NSAR or GC. It is a biological response modifying drug which destroys surplus immunity complexes and intensifies their clearance by mononuclear phagocytic cells an one hand and cuts up macromolecules which are released in the inflammatory area by histolysis. By these properties Wobenzym interferes the vicious circles of inflammatory defense processes, accelerates detritus elimination and promotes tissue regeneration.
