Effects of dilutions of pollens, histamine and arsenic on in vitro and ex vivo histamino-release of allergic subjects

Abstract: Several authors using the human basophil degranulation test (TDBH) have reported the effects of very low doses of histamine, PAF-acether or Apis Mellifica. In vitro or ex vivo histamino-release (HR) on total blood may be proposed as an alternative test to explore immediate hypersensitivity. In a previous study, we experimented Histaminum 7CH (10-14), Pollens 9CH (10-18) et Arsenicum album 15CH (10-30) on two groups of 6 grass pollens or D. pteronyssinus lergic patients. These substances were ten-fold diluted in Tyrode's solution just prior to assay and then coded.
