[Correction of hepatotoxin effects by lucerne preparations]

The effect of luceron, a phytopreparation from lucerne (Medicago sativa), was studied with respect to the bile secretion and cholopoietic functions and the bile acid spectrum in the blood of rats. It was found that luceron stimulates the bile secretion activity of hepatocytes and normalizes the synthesis of bile acids in rats with model hepatitis.
