[Variability of cardiac rhythm and treatment modalities for the vegetative state dystonia syndrome]

A total of 30 patients diagnosed as having autonomous dysfunction symptomatology (VSD) were subjected to 24-monitoring of the heart's rhythm. The analysis performed disclosed VDS-related dynamics of the spectrum frequency powers, which fact can serve as an additional diagnostic criterion in identifying of the condition under consideration. The employment of acupuncture has been found to substantially enhance the efficiency of the medicamentous treatment.
