Mappes Chirurgische Universitätsklinik Abteilung Allgemeine Chirurgie mit Poliklinik Freiburg Rectal prolapse - Anal prolapse Zusammenfassung Der Rektumvorfall ist definiert als Invagination der gesamten Rektumwand in oder durch das Lumen des Analkanals. Er ist überwiegend eine Erkrankung des älteren weiblichen Geschlechts. Führend ist das Gefühl der inkompletten Stuhlentleerung. Häufig klagen die Patienten über verschiedene Grade der Inkontinenz über häufigen Stuhldrang frustrane Pressversuche und über Blut- und Schleimabsonderung. Die Diagnose wird durch Anamnese und körperliche Untersuchung gestellt apparative Verfahren dienen der Therapieplanung. Therapeutisch stehen verschiedenste operative Verfahren zur Verfügung. Der Analprolaps wird als drittgradiges Hämorrhoidalleiden verstanden. Die Diagnose lässt sich durch einfache Inspektion stellen. Mithilfe der rektal-digitalen Untersuchung kann die Reposition versucht werden. Die Therapie richtet sich nach dem klinischen Befund. Summary Rectal prolapse is defined as the invagination of the entire wall of the rectum into or through the lumen of the anal canal. ln the main it is a disorder of elderly women. The leading symptom is a sensation of incomplete defecation. Patients commonly complain of incontinence of varying severity tenesmus unsuccessful straining and the passage of blood and mucus in the stools. The diagnosis is based on the history and physical examination. Equipment-based diagnostic procedures serve treatment planning. For therapy a range of possibilities are available. Anal prolapse is categorized as third-degree hemorrhoidal disease and the diagnosis can be made by simple inspection. Reduction may be attempted during digital examination of the rectum.
