Abstract: In Europe, especially by health insurances, the Traditional Chinese Medicine, TCM, often is reduced to pain-acupuncture". Having a more closer look, therapists and patients will discover a fascinating and logic medicine. This medicine, being used without a break for thousands of years, is able to master the characterization of holistic medicine: The Chinese Medicine covers the entire person by a very detailed diagnosis, taking into consideration the current status of body, mind, soul, of the individual nourishing, individually disturbing climate factors, the living surroundings (Feng Shui) and all social contacts. One of the most important aspects however is the individual physical and psychological constitution. TCM knows 5 congenital personality types, 5 current emotions and 5 spiritual aspects. Knowing the personality type of his patient, the therapist is informed about possible vulnerable spots in body and soul and the resultant psychosomatic diseases.
