Balneotherapy for inflammatory and non-inflammatory arthritis at the Dead Sea area

Beer-Sheva ISRAEL The major Spas in Israel are located along the Western shore of the Dead Sea. The region has unique climatic characteristics such as high barometric pressure low relative humidity and high and stable temperatures. Treatment modalities unclude: bathing in mineral (sulphur) pools in Dead Sea water and mud pucks. In this presentation we summerize our clinical studies which include 76 patients suffering from active rheumatoid arthritis 40 patients with knee osteoarthritis and 50 patients with fibromyalgia. wt
