Abstract: Neuroanatomy is a topic in need of more teaching activities. An activity that works well in introductory psychology courses is having students spend time in small groups analyzing case studies wing the neuroanatomy information they previously learned. Groups then share their ideas with the entire class. This collaborative activity enables students to apply their knowledge, which makes concepts more meaningful and memorable to them. The instructor also helps students become comfortable with the material by continually asking for more specifics. Students report chat the activity is very enjoy able and helpful for remembering or learning the material.
