Abstract: Over the last few years, several different neuroimaging techniques have been applied to get a better insight into cortical regions activated after olfactory stimulation. Here we report on data obtained by recent magnetic source imaging (MSI) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) studies during well-defined olfactory stimulation and compare the results obtained with these two techniques.
