Hämatogene Oxidationstherapie (HOT) in der Augenheilkunde -unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der trockenen, feuchten und diabetogenen Maculopathie

Abstract: The eye is well accessible in an objective examination, so that pathological changes as well as improvements of these findings can be exactly documented. It is not only at the eye, that chronic vascular diseases are an important indication for the hematogenous oxidation therapy.In the present work, the pathophysiological processes in the case of the dry, wet, and diabetogenous maculopathy are explained and the effects of a HOT treatment by the regulation of the capillary perfusion, by virostatic and bacteriostatic effects and the stabilization of inflamed cells are discussed.
