Abstract: Every basic innovation gets a development going, which moulds the society for many decades. The period of its effect is called Kondratieff's cycle. Steam Engine, steel processing, electro-technics/chemistry, petrochemistry/ automobil determined the first four cycles. The basis of the current Kondratieff is information technology. In the 6th Kondratieff there will be basic changes. Psychosocial factors, like cooperation, willingness, creativity, freedom from fear, sense of responsibility will determine the process as new qualities.The basis of the new epoch will be the world-wide biggest growth market: health. lt will be the motor for growth and employment in the 21st century. And it will come out of the diction of the mere management of diseases. Health will be understood as a part of holistic connections. Today, precursors of the 6th Kondratieff already work on the basis of this understanding.
