Die kontinuierliche Procain-Basen-Dauerinfusion/-perfusionNeue Wege zur systemischen Regulations-, Entzündungs- und Schmerzbehandlung - Grundsätze und klinische Beobachtungen -
Abstract: Based on the knowledge about the systemic use of a highly dosed procaine base mixture as a short infusion, a 24 h long-term application was developed, which in the meantime is used very often clinically and which makes possible another enlargement of the therapeutic regimen in the case of severe chronic inflammatory, inflammatory-rheumatic and algesiologic types of diseases. Chronic inflammatory diseases (rheumatoid arthritis, Bekhterev's arthritis, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, spondylodiscitis, osteomyelitis, chronic pancreatitis) and chronic pain diseases (postlaminectomy syndrome neuralgias, drug withdrawal, algodystrophies) are considered to be main indications of the continuous procaine base therapy. In principle, the presence of a regulative potency, the positive reaction to the infusion neural therapy in the run-up, and possibly the situation of an already exhausted classic anti-inflammatory and analgetic therapy are regarded as the precondition for use.The method described in the article can be carried out on an ambulant basis, it leads to a reduction of stays in hospital and the consumption of drugs, there are comparatively few side-effects, and it is well tolerated by motivated patients. The results within the scope of individual prescriptions with a total of 42 patients are presented and the multiformity is illustrated by 9 casuistries.
