Erwartungsprofil von Kongreßteilnehmern zur Gestaltung der Jahrestagungen der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Physikalische Medizin und Rehabilitation (DGPMR) Ergebnisse einer Befragung auf dem 102. und 103. Kongreß

Gehrke Klinik für Physikalische Medizin und Rehabilitation Medizinische Hochschule Hannover Zusammenfassung: Erwartungen und Vorstellungen von Kongreßteilnehmern zur inhaltlichen und organisatorischen Gestaltung der Jahreskongresse der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Physikalische und Rehabilitative Medizin (DGPMR) sind bisher nicht näher untersucht worden. Auf dem 102. und 103. Kongreß der DGPMR die 1997 und 1998 stattfanden beantworteten 68 bzw. 67 Teilnehmer einen standardisierten Fragebogen (Antwortrate aller Kongreßteilnehmer 23 bzw. 21 %). Das wesentliche Motiv für eine Teilnahme waren bei den meisten Befragten (57 %) die Inhalte des wissenschaftlichen Programmes nur 16 % gaben die eigene Präsentation als entscheidenden Grund an. Neben wissenschaftlichen Sitzungen bestand ein großes Interesse an Fort- und Weiterbildungsangeboten in Form von Workshops und Seminaren sowie gemeinsamen Veranstaltungen mit in- und ausländischen Fachgesellschaften. 73 bzw. 77 % aller Befragten gaben 150 - 300 DM als Obergrenze für Kongreßgebühren an die Obergrenzen für Workshopgebühren (Dauer 1 5 Stunden) lagen für die Mehrheit zwischen 25 und 50 DM. Die vorliegende Untersuchung liefert erstmals genauere Informationen über das Erwartungsprofil von Kongreßteilnehmern und damit bessere Planungsgrundlagen für eine inhaltliche und organisatorische Kongreßgestaltung. Expectation profile of congress participants on the planning and organization of annual congresses of the German Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (DGPMR) - results of a survey questionnaire at the 102th and 103th congress: Up to now expectations and conceptions of conference members on the planning and organization of annual congresses of the German Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (DGPMR) have not been subject of detailled scientific interest. At the 102th and 103th annual congresses of the DGPMR held in 1997 and 1998 68 and 67 members respectively answered a standardized survey questionnaire (response rate 23 and 21 %). For the majority of interrogated participants (57 %) the main motive for attendance was the content of the scientific programme only 16 % reported their own presentation as the main reason. Apart from scientific sessions there was great interest in workshops and training courses as well as joint meetings with other scientific societies. The upper limits for congress fees were 150 - 300 DM for 73 and 77 % in all returned questionnaires in both surveys with upper limits for workshop fees (1.5 hours duration) of 25-50 DM. This is the first investigation providing detailled informations on the expectation profile of congress participants as a basis for an improved scientific and financial congress planning and organization.
