Abstract: Mark, in his late thirties, begins his story with his early music study and precocious entry into a music conservatory. He met Torben when he entered a psychiatric hospital after many years of substance abuse. Mark describes the imagery he created from his deep unconscious as he, with the support of Torben, listened to classical music, and describes the importance of the music sessions in aiding his recovery.
