The Spiritual Insights of a Guided Imagery and Music Client with Autism

Abstract: This clinical case study is one of three from the author's book "I dreamed I was normal: A music therapist's journey into the realms of autism" (Clarkson 1998). It describes the spiritual revelations of a nonverbal adult with autism in a series of adapted GIM sessions that spanned three years. Jerry's case study in Volume 4 of the AMI Journal (Clarkson 1995) is a precursor of this study.
