Supervision of psychotherapy: claims, facts and trends

Abstract: Various models,forms and methods of psychotherapy supervision are presented against the background of a changing perception of supervision. The nature of these changes will be shown together with the empirical basis for the assertion that supervision has a quality assurance function and the efforts undertaken to guarantee the quality of the supervision itself.
