Chinese medicine is an ancient medical system using acupuncture as one of its principal treatment modalities. Acupuncture is becoming increasingly popular in the United States as a treatment for pain and other physical problems. This article chronicles a professional transition from a hospital nursing career into that of Chinese medicine.
