Qualitative research in systemic therapy |
Journal/Book: Syst Fam. 1998; 11: 175 Fifth Ave, New York, NY 10010. Springer Verlag. 112-119.
Abstract: Research in systemic therapy is suffering from the fact that its prevailing methodology is corresponding neither to the logic of systemic therapy nor to its subject matter, the therapeutic situation. We call for qualitative methods of research, particularly a modern case study approach, to be used, which makes use of the practioners' experience and thus contributes to bridging the gap between research and practice.
