Abstract: The science of parasitology was able to clear up to a great extent the astonishing achievements with respect to adaptation and the very complicated reproductive mechanisms of many species of parasites. There are still questions concerning the correlation between host organisms and their parasites as a possible cause of widespread diseases of the respective host.Immunopathology of parasitoses for example is researched only basically. In consideration of the nearly complete infestation of the world's population with parasites (WHO, 1995) it should not be very astonishing, when the systematic examination of patients with chronic complaints for parasitoses normally shows positive results. Therefore, the aim of the present article is to reveal connections between symptoms (allergies, mycoses, heavy metal poisoning etc.) and the underlying parasitoses and to develop a holistic diagnostic and therapeutic system on the basis of these findings.
